Vineland Growers wins "biggest crowd pleaser" award for their float at the Christmas parade in Grimsby on Saturday evening. This marks the first year of their participation in the Grimsby Parade. The float themed "Babes in Toyland" was manned by staff, family and friends. It was complete with a live band toy soldiers marching and handing out candy.

Vineland Co-op celebrates 100 years with visit by Premier
When the Vineland Growers Cooperative started operations in September, 1913, the well-known Lakehouse Restaurant at the shore north of Jordan Station was a private farmhouse belonging to one of the founders of the co-op. Fruit and vegetables were loaded aboard ships at a dock near the house, for transport to Toronto and from there to markets and towns across Ontario.
